I'm an active person and like to snow ski, hike in the mountains, run, cycle and have a craft beer or glass of wine. I also enjoy going on drives and having a nice dinner. I do like watching football during the season, but I'm not consumed with it--perhaps one college game on Saturdays and one NFL game on Sundays, though I would pass on watching if I was planning to ski or do some other fun activity. I also enjoy watching college basketball during March Madness, though will occasionally watch a good game during the season. I recently completed a 20 plus year career in the U.S. Marine Corps (active people only apply). Prior to the Marine Corps, I'm originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I attended the University of New Mexico and competed on the men' s swimming team (I don' t get in the water too much anymore). I relocated to the Denver area because I've had the opportunity travel and live throughout the country (traveled to all but two states), and Colorado is my favorite state. I've also lived and traveled abroad, though typically not on vacation. Other than Colorado, I enjoyed living in San Diego and Newport, Rhode Island. Of course San Diego is a great place to be outside if you enjoy one season; Newport was historic, cold in the winter, very pretty, and had great restaurants--did a little sailing, too. I enjoy weekend road trips and traveling throughout the U.S., though I no longer get particularity excited about traveling abroad (that might change eventually). As an example, I drove up to Frisco, Colorado a couple months ago and watched the Broncos at a local sports bar -- had a great time on the drive, walking around Frisco, enjoyed the game, and meeting others. Enjoy being around others who have similar interests, especially maintaining a reasonable level of fitness.
